Registration is Open for Floral Arranging Workshops at Edison and Ford Winter Estates
FORT MYERS, Fla. (September 9, 2025) — Floral designer, Anita Singh, will teach the art of creating floral arrangements in several new workshops at Edison and Ford Winter Estates this season. Participants will learn how to choose the right flowers and greenery, put all of the pieces together, and create their own arrangement in each workshop.

Singh is an award-winning event florist known for her creativity in floral design. She will share her expertise and techniques to help students create a unique arrangement. The workshops are suitable for both beginners and experienced floral designers.
Registration is open for the following workshops:
Design with Purpose and Support Cancer Awareness — October 5
This workshop is an opportunity to design like a pro and raise awareness while crafting with purpose. Participants will learn essential principles of design, flower selection, and care techniques to create a floral arrangement. Participants will have the option to create a second floral arrangement specifically for a donation (can be gifted to a patient, a friend in need, or donated to a local hospital or cancer center).
Eco-Friendly Floral Design — November 9
Participants will learn how to create a stunning floral arrangement using environmentally friendly practices. This workshop will teach the skills needed to design beautiful arrangements, while making a positive impact on the planet.
Lantern of Joy Christmas Centerpiece Workshop — December 21
In this workshop, participants will create a Christmas centerpiece that can be used on the holiday table or given as a gift. Centerpieces will be made using lanterns, lush greenery, vibrant ornaments and seasonal flowers.
Glass Terrarium Workshop — January 11
This workshop will cover the various types of terrariums and step-by-step instructions on how to create and care for a terrarium display.
Mixed Media Floral Arrangement — February 8
In this workshop, participants will create an arrangement that resembles a peacock, a bird famously adored by Mina Edison. Singh will explain how to select the perfect blooms and materials while sharing techniques to bring each students vision to life.
Moss and Air Plant Wall Décor Workshop — March 15
This workshop will allow each participant to create their own botanically inspired wall art using preserved moss and air plants.
Decorating with Spring Flowers — April 4
This hands-on experience is suited for anyone looking to add a touch of spring elegance to their home or a special event.
Parent & Child Floral Fun — May 3
In this workshop, a parent and child will bond and create floral purses. Each parent may bring a child (aged 6 to 12) at no additional charge. This hands-on workshop can be used as a Mother’s Day gift.
Participants will be able to take their floral arrangement home with them to display or give away as a gift. All flowers, foliage, and supplies will be provided. Each workshop runs from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost of each workshop is $85 for non-members or $75 for Edison Ford members. Registration is required at EdisonFord.org.
