Have you ever wished you could see the private gardens on McGregor Boulevard and in Downtown Fort Myers? This tour will take you behind those private gates, where you will find seven beautifully designed gardens. After touring the gardens, the group is invited to attend a reception in the Moonlight Garden, where refreshments will be provided. Proceeds from the tour will go to restoration efforts to re-create the Arts & Crafts-styled garden trellis and pergola that surrounded the original 1929 Moonlight Garden.
Packets with garden locations will be distributed at 9 a.m. on March 28. Participants should meet at the Banyan Café in the Estates’ parking lot. Carpooling to the gardens is recommended. Registration is required.
Garden tour: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Reception: 3:30-5:30 p.m.
