2018-2019 Schedule:

Emerging Inventors programs include story and music time, socializing with others, educational activities, science experiments, and exploration of the homes, gardens, and museum. For ages 1-5.

Garden Fun

September 20, 9:30 - 11:30am - Experiment with the power of the sun and help build our community garden plot!

Trick or Treat!

October 18, 9:30 - 11:00am - Dress in costume and enjoy a festive trick or treat walk around the Edison & Ford Winter Estates, delight in a spooky science show and spooky science project.

Chemistry Creations

November 15, 9:30 - 11:30am - Learn about mixtures and solutions, conducting multiple experiments featuring slime, making polymers and even colorful "exploding" milk!

Holiday Cheer

December 20, 9:30 - 11:30am - Experience the magic of the season, making presents, holiday ornaments, and more!

Bouncing Bubbles

January 17, 9:30 - 11:30am - The Edison Ford Wild Wizards display bubbles in many forms, from snake bubbles to bubbles that are heavier than air!

LEGO Art & Engineering

February 21, 9:30 - 11:30am - Build with LEGOs and collaborate with others to practice teamwork while creating animals, rockets, trains, and more.

Art, Naturally

March 14, 9:30 - 11:30am - Express your inner creativity through crafts inspired by nature, such as fish prints and leaf design, along the banks of the Caloosahatchee. 

Water, Water, Everywhere!

April 18, 9:30 - 11:30am - What will sink and what will float? Engage in a series of water-based activities that are both fun and educational. 

Cost: Members $10 per class or $70 for entire series; non-embers $15 per class or $80 for entire series. Includes one adult and one child; each additional child $5 (subject to availability).
