Dig out your tie-dyed shirts and bell bottoms and travel back in time with Edison Ford as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock. Peace of Woodstock pays tribute to the famous three-day festival that was held in upstate New York in 1969.
The show takes guests on a musical journey from the acoustic opening sounds of Richie Havens through the closing moments with the explosive, electric sounds of Jimi Hendrix. Also featured are songs from The Who, Janis Joplin, Sly and the Family Stone, Joe Cocker, Arlo Guthrie, Country Joe McDonald, Santana, Jefferson Airplane, and others.
Bring your favorite lawn chair and a sweater if the weather is chilly. There will be a cash bar and refreshments available for purchase. No coolers permitted. Visitors should park in the main Edison Ford parking lot. The concert will take place on the Ford estate lawn.
Tickets are now available online or at the museum ticket counter. Edison Ford members: $20; non-members: $25; all tickets purchased at the door: $30.
