Living in Florida allows us to grow orchids inside and outside! Learn about, view and tour some of our native orchids and we’ll unlock the secrets of successfully growing some of the most popular plants on the market today. Class will cover feeding, mounting, and choosing the best species for your garden. A brief tour of Mina Edison’s “Orchid Lane” immediately follows the classroom presentation.
Bring water, walking shoes and sun protection. Held in the comfortable air-conditioned Garden Council classroom just off the Larchmont Ave. parking lot. Look for the red “Torry Gate.” Advance registration is required (registration opens October 1 and closes February 19).
