Decorate Christmas Cookies
Come decorate cookies and enjoy the Holiday Nights lights! This event provides families with a night out to see the lights and still get the cookies made!
- Admission to Holiday Nights is included
- Each family will receive a keepsake illuminated ornament
- Cold apple cider and lemonade will be served
- The river pavilion will be festively decorated, and holiday music will be played in the background
A family ticket is $140.00 (for 4 people and includes admission to Holiday Nights). Additional tickets may be added for $30 each additional (up to 2 additional tickets can be purchased). An extra ticket includes an additional six-piece cookie bundle.
The ticket price includes a Do-it-Yourself Cookie Bundle Kit with 12 cookies, four types of icing, three types of sprinkles, and an instruction card. Cookies are un-frosted sugar cookies, cut in various Christmas-themed shapes. A gluten-free option is available.

(science technology, engineering, art, and math) camps. For students currently in grades K-5, unless otherwise noted. Campers must bring lunches, and snacks if desired. - September 23rd • Mechanical Makers & Builders • Campers explore simple machines as they learn about mechanical advantage in this camp. Each activity highlights the power of one simple machine—for example, the catapult challenge focuses on using the mighty lever!
- October 13th • The Spooky Science of Chemistry • An Edison Ford tradition! Campers become mad scientists as they learn how to make lava lamps, glowing slime, and more! This spooky camp leverages the lessons of chemistry to enhance the holiday fun.
- November 24-26 • Robotics Crash Course • Campers learn about robotics and code as they tackle daily robotics challenges. Members of the Edison Ford Robotics teams will be on-hand to demonstrate their competition robots and assist campers on their STEAM journey.
- December 22-23 • Space, Rockets, and the Science of Flight • Campers learn about the physics of rockets as they explore Newtons Laws of Motion and the solar system. A scale model of the planets is created– using the entire length of the Edison Ford Winter Estates! As campers are learning about the universe, they will also be designing their own water rocket to be launched on the last day of camp.
- December 29-30 • Rollercoaster Engineering • Campers explore energy and Newton’s Laws of Motion through the design of roller coasters. Campers design marble rollercoasters with marbles of various volume and mass to learn about kinetic and potential energy. The camp finishes with LEGO coaster as campers design the cars that roll on the track.
- January 2 • Engineering Toys Workshop • Campers learn the science behind simple toys, and what gyroscopes and tops have in common. With the help of 3D printing, LEGOs, and simple materials, campers design and test their fun creations.
- January 5 • The Living Lab: Biology & Chemistry Explore the living lab that is the Edison Ford Winter Estates! Campers learn about the botanical work done by Thomas Edison and Henry Ford here in Fort Myers while exploring botany, chemistry, and history.
- March 13 • Designing Fun: Game Design and Board Games • Campers delve into game design concepts and learn about the board games played by Edison and his family during leisure time. Campers work together to design a camp wide board game played by all. Chinese checkers, Chess, and other games are explored as campers learn the strategy to win.
- March 16-20 • Spring into STEAM: Robotics & Electronics Campers tackle a range of STEAM activities as they learn about robotics, code and circuits all with hands-on activities. Daily challenges include LEGO robotics, 3D design, building a jitter-bot circuit, and word-block coding.
- April 3 • Animation Creations • Campers learn about the history of film and create their own animations. Two forms of animation are explored: stop motion animation and using code-blocks to tell a story.

Etiquette Class
Offered several times each season, Etiquette classes are for children ages 6-12. These classes are two-hour sessions in good manners and teach proper introduction, handshakes and dining etiquette during a three-course meal. Each student will receive a workbook and certificate of completion. All classes run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parents should plan to drop children off for the class.

Vintage Base Ball Game – at Terry Park
Edison and Ford Winter Estates will host a day of vintage “base ball” at historic Terry Park in East Fort Myers. Join us to celebrate the early days of our national pastime with three teams playing consecutive games (the Fort Myers Vagabonds, Bradenton Shamrocks, and the Central Florida Awkwards).
The teams will play by 1860s rules. Players will wear vintage uniforms, no gloves, and use wood bats and lemon peel baseballs. Spectators will see the game played as it was when Thomas Edison was a teenager and he developed his life-long love of the game, inspiring him to proclaim: “Baseball is the greatest of American games.”

50th Annual Holiday Nights Celebration
Thousands of lights, hundreds of historic decorations, and one unique holiday experience await you nightly! Returning for the 50th year, Holiday Nights has been revamped with new light displays and much more. Don’t miss the Children’s Holiday Tree Trail with handmade ornaments created by students from local schools and shopping in the Museum Store and Garden Shoppe for unique holiday gifts. Plus, on select nights, there will be refreshments available for purchase, Santa visits, musicians and carolers!
Nightly (except for opening night) guided holiday tradition tours at 6 and 7 p.m. (sold at the ticket office on a first-come first-served basis daily). Admission includes the Edison and Ford gardens; please note that the museum and lab will close at 5:30 p.m. and are not included in Holiday Nights admission.

Admission
• Nightly guided tours are available on a first-come first-served basis in the museum ticket office and can only be purchased on the day of the tour. The guided tours are offered at $35 for adults, $28 for teens, $20 for children ages 6-12, and $15 for members.
• General admission is $23 for adults, $13 for teens, and $3 for children ages 6-12. Children ages 5 and under are admitted free with paid adult. General admission is sold on an unlimited basis nightly (last ticket sold at 8:30 p.m.). Edison Ford members are admitted free.
• Combo tickets are available for those visiting during the day and staying for Holiday Nights. Visitors with daytime admission can add on Holiday Nights admission at a discounted rate (good only on same evening as daytime tour). Purchase as a combo at the ticket counter when you buy your daytime tickets or hold onto your receipt in case you decide to upgrade later that day.
Lee County residents with proof of residence (driver license, utility bill, etc) will receive $5 off adult admissions on Monday evenings throughout the event. Resident admissions must be purchased in person and are good for the day of purchase only.
• Holiday Nights admission tickets purchased online are good for any evening November 28-December 23 and December 26 through January 4. Reservations are not necessary for general admission – just show your e-ticket at the welcome booth when you arrive. Admission may also be purchased at the ticket office. Nightly holiday tradition guided tours are first-come first-served and must be purchased in-person on the day of the tour.
