We believe that STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math) skills are critical for students in the 21st century. We also believe the core values of collaboration and innovation will be critical for tomorrow’s leaders. Because of our commitment to these values, we’ve had a long-standing connection to youth robotics that we’ve built upon year over year:
2012: Our staff began acting as area robotics mentors.
2018: The first Edison Ford robotics team was created.
2022: The second Edison Ford robotics team was created. An Edison Ford robotics team advanced to world-level championships.
2023: Our FLL Explore (grade K-3) team was founded. An Edison Ford robotics team advanced to world-level championships.
2024: An Edison Ford robotics team advanced to international championships.
Today: Our staff continue to expand their roles as area robotics mentors and actively operate three youth robotics teams onsite.
