The Edison and Ford Winter Estates date from 1885, when Thomas Edison first visited Southwest Florida and purchased the property to build a vacation home.

We are Open for Business During Nearby Road Work
• A section of McGregor Boulevard will be closed through mid-September. This will not affect operations at Edison Ford. Visitors will be able to access the site through a rear entrance, and the crosswalk to the west side of McGregor will be available. Click here for detour map.
• The Caloosahatchee Bridge (US 41/Cleveland Ave.) is closed until mid-August. Access to our site traveling from the north is available via the Edison Bridge or Interstate 75.
