FORT MYERS, Fla. Edison Ford Holiday Nights opens November 29 – January 4, 2014.  The historic buildings and gardens are decorated with lights, traditional decorations and Edison and Ford inventions.  The site is open daily from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. during Holiday Nights.   

The Edison Ford is open daily from 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The Edison Ford is the winner of the 2009 National Stewardship Award from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and is an official project of “Save America’s Treasures” at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, a Florida Historic Landmark and a National Register Historic Site. Edison Ford Holiday Nights Opening November 29 with Tree Lighting at 6 p.m.



FORT MYERS, Fla. (November 27, 2013) –
Edison Ford Holiday Nights at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates starts earlier than ever this year, Friday evening, November 29th.  Holiday Nights opens at 5:30 p.m. and continues through January 4, 2014.  The Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place November 29 at 6 p.m.  Santa, The Naples Carolers, Mr. Edison and Mr. Ford will also join the festivities.  New this year, Clydesdale Wagon Rides, will take tours through historic Edison Park on select evenings, including opening night.
 
The annual Edison Ford Holiday Nights event is celebrating 38 years and is a “must see” holiday tradition in Southwest Florida. During the holidays the homes and gardens of Thomas and Mina Edison and Henry and Clara Ford are seasonally decorated with colorful lights.  USA Today selected Edison Ford Holiday Nights as a top historic home to visit during the holidays. 

COST: Self-guided Tours - Adults $15 - Children (6-12) $2
Students ages 13 - College (must present College ID) $8
Guided Tours - Adults $20 - Children (6-12) $8, Edison Ford Members FREE.
Clydesdale Wagon Rides provided by Whispering Pines are offered from 6 – 8:30 p.m.  Adults $10, Children $5.
