One-of-a-kind gifts at Edison Ford Artists and Authors Night
December 16, 2012, 4 – 8 p.m.

Fort Myers, FL(December 14, 2012) One-of-a-kind gifts of gourmet foods, books, paintings, art, crafts and other creations featuring the history and interests of the Edison and Ford families and their winter estates in Fort Myers will be personalized by a group of authors and artists on December 16, 2012 from 4 – 8 p.m. in the Edison Caretaker’s House. A variety of chefs will also have samples of their gourmet foods for tasting. Admission is free to the event with a shoppers pass available in the Edison Ford Museum Store.

The group of artists, authors and culinary wizards who will be available to discuss and personalize their work includes: Harry Adams, Marie Adams, Anderson Macadamia Arboretum, Manfred Behr, Amy Bennett Williams, Carlene Brennen, Calamondin Café, Katie Gardenia, Irresistible Confections, Megan Kissinger, Charles LeBuff, Elaine and Wayne Lefebvre, Christine Lemmon, Leoma Lovegrove, Doug MacGregor, Jerry McMillan, Danny Morgan Musical Services, Arnish Patel, Peaches Provisions, Edwina Raffa, Ray Schmelz, John Shepard, Tom Smoot, Charles Sobczak, Allen and Joyce Walker.

Authors and Artists Night will offer visitors a treasure of gifts for all ages to spark the imagination and celebrate the creativity and beauty of Florida. Edison Ford Shop staff can ship items, prepare baskets and make suggestions for one-of-a-kind gifts. A new item that will be available for purchase is the Edison Ford Gift Card which may be used to purchase retail merchandise, membership, program fees, plants, summer camp registration, as well as admission and participation at Edison Ford.
