The Edison and Ford Winter Estates date from 1885, when Thomas Edison first visited Southwest Florida and purchased the property to build a vacation home.

The 50th annual Holiday Nights is running now through January 4, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. nightly (closed Christmas Eve and Christmas). General admission is available under the “buy tickets” link or when you arrive at the ticket counter.
Holiday Hours
Christmas Eve December 24: No admissions after 12:00 noon, site closes at 2:00 p.m. The museum store is open until 2:00 p.m. with great gifts to complete your list!
Christmas Day December 25: Closed
Note that Larchmont Avenue is closed during the day, but the east end will be open after 5 p.m. for parking during Holiday Nights. Guests may enter through the main gate on McGregor or the rear entrance at Marlyn Road and Monte Vista Street.
