Fort Myers Film Festival at Edison Ford
Join us for an evening of films under the stars! In partnership with the Fort Myers Film Festival, several films will be shown on the Henry Ford estate lawn along the Caloosahatchee River. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
The selection of films will include:
- An original silent film, with pianist Stephen Brittain performing the score
- “Preservation Forever,” a tribute to the success of Sam Galloway, Jr. and his long history with the Estates
- “Stay Wild,” a short story about a young woman and her quest to conserve wild places
- “A Greenlander,” a documentary about a French painter in Greenland who teaches art therapy to neglected children

Visitors are invited to stroll the botanical gardens after regular hours for a special evening of music,
refreshments and a sunset view over the Caloosahatchee River. Guests may also walk onto the porches of Thomas Edison’s and Henry Ford’s winter homes and look inside through the open doors.
Visitors enjoy an outdoor concert at Edison and Ford Winter Estates.
Jeff Feldstein plays an eclectic mix of crowd favorites. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Guests may bring a lawn chair or blanket to relax and watch the sunset. Masks are required.

If you like listening to Jimmy Buffett, you won’t want to miss this concert! The Caribbean Chillers will put on an authentic show that’s sure to please any parrot head. There will be a cash bar and refreshments available for purchase. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the concert starting at 6 p.m. on the historic Ford lawn.
So put on your flip flops and come spend the evening along the river for some great music, a fantastic river view and refreshing beverages – because after all, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere!
Parking is available in the Edison Ford lots only (Pinchers entrance gate will not be open). Guests should bring a folding chair and a sweater if the weather is chilly. No coolers and no pets permitted. Masks are required. Seating locations will be pre-marked by EFWE staff in order to meet social distancing guidelines.

Rhythm on the River – Neil Diamond Tribute (Neil Zirconia)
Come sing along with Neil Zirconia, a Neil Diamond Tribute as he takes us down memory lane! He’ll be performing Diamond’s greatest hits and crowd favorites on the Ford lawn. Returning by popular demand, Zirconia looks and sounds like the real Diamond! Gates open at 5:30 p.m. No coolers permitted. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Rhythm on the River-Michael Dutra & The Strictly Sinatra Band
This Sinatra tribute band has been performing all across the country since 2002. They opened for Howie Mandel at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City, and performed at the Governor Chris Christie inaugural event in 2010. Michael shares many similarities to Frank Sinatra: both are left handed, both born on December 12, they are the same height and both of their fathers were boxers at one time.
Come spend the evening along the river, while enjoying great music, a fantastic river view, and refreshing beverages! Bring your favorite lawn chair and a sweater if the weather is chilly. Coastal Dayz Brewery and American Grilled Cheese Kitchen will have refreshments available for purchase. No coolers permitted. Rhythm on the River – Peace of Woodstock
Dig out your tie-dyed shirts and bell bottoms and travel back in time with Edison Ford as we celebrate the 51st anniversary of Woodstock. Peace of Woodstock pays tribute to the famous three-day festival that was held in upstate New York in 1969.
The show takes guests on a musical journey from the acoustic opening sounds of Richie Havens through the closing moments with the explosive, electric sounds of Jimi Hendrix. Also featured are songs from The Who, Janis Joplin, Sly and the Family Stone, Joe Cocker, Arlo Guthrie, Country Joe McDonald, Santana, Jefferson Airplane, and others.
Bring your favorite lawn chair and a sweater if the weather is chilly. There will be a cash bar and refreshments available for purchase. No coolers permitted. Visitors should park in the main Edison Ford parking lot. The concert will take place on the Ford estate lawn. Masks are required.

Rhythm on the River – Almost ABBA
Almost ABBA is the longest-running North American tribute to the Swedish band ABBA.
The event takes place at the Ford lawn along the Caloosahatchee, where guests can feel a refreshing river breeze and watch a spectacular sunset. Bring your favorite lawn chair and a sweater if the weather is chilly. The Great American Grilled Cheese Kitchen and Coastal Dayz Brewing will be on-hand serving food and beverages. Coolers not permitted.
Visitors should park in the main Edison Ford parking lot. Gates open at 5:30. Guests are required to wear masks during the event.
Tickets are sold out online however a limited number remain in the museum store at $30 per person. Must be purchased in-person at the museum ticket counter.
