Hurricane Preparedness Seminar Planned at Edison Ford
FORT MYERS, Fla. (June 27, 2016) -- on July 12, at 10:00 a.m., Edison & Ford Winter Estates will host a hurricane preparedness seminar including a presentation from Lee County Emergency Management and guest speakers from Edison Ford staff and WINK News meteorologist, Mary Mays.
This in-depth lecture will include information on how to plan and prepare for hurricane season, the Special Needs Program, volunteering with Emergency Management, family emergency plans, evacuation routes, public shelters, emergency supply kits, evacuation zones, and what resources are available during a disaster.

The seminar is open to the public and part of an ongoing monthly series of lectures and programs designed to engage both Lee County residents and visitors. The seminar is free and will be held in the lecture hall of the South Florida Water Management building at the corner of Larchmont Avenue and McGregor Boulevard.
