Holiday Nights Proceeds Benefit Education Programs
Open now through January 3 -- See Holiday Hours

FORT MYERS, Fla. (December 21, 2015) -- Holiday Nights at Edison & Ford Winter Estates runs through January 3, 2016, so there is still something festive and fun for visitors and local residents to do even after the last Christmas gift is unwrapped.

Holiday Nights is a very important event for Edison Ford -- not just because it's the biggest holiday light show in Fort Myers, but because the proceeds support education programs, including our scholarship program for Guardian ad Litem children and other underprivileged children and families, as well as on-going preservation efforts of the historic homes and gardens.

Edison Ford provides scholarships to families in need, so their children can attend the Edison Ford Inventors Summer Camp. Without the scholarship, these children would not be able to have a camp experience. Summer camp classes include video game design, electricity and lighting design, robotics, space and rockets, kitchen chemistry, movie making magic, and arts and science.

For Lee County residents that wish to help the children's programs, we offer discounts on select nights. On December 28, 29, 30, 31, and Jan. 1, 2 and 3, residents with photo identification, will receive $5 off a regular priced adult ticket.

Everyone that comes out to see the decorated winter homes and gardens of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford is helping to support the education programs at Edison Ford.

  • Nightly, guided holiday tradition tours at 6:00 and 7:00 p.m.
  • Special inside-the-homes tour at 11:00 a.m. on December 24

  • Edison Ford Museum and Laboratory open nightly
  • Ford Cottage Shoppe, Museum Store and Garden Shoppe open nightly
