Fort Myers, FLA (October 6, 2015) A new exhibit entitled Tropical Gardens, Tropical Flowers opens in the Edison Caretaker’s House on October 11, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. This exhibit features modern photographs by renowned photographer Manfred Behr, as well as historic photographs, modern illustrations and artwork from Marie Dyer and Megan Kissinger. All works focus on a theme important to the lives of the Edison and Ford families in Florida: the tropical gardens and flowers which surrounded them and document their love for the outdoor environment.

Behr has won numerous accolades for his work, including the American Advertising Award and “Florida’s Finest” award from the Governor of the State of Florida. Prints and postcards by Manfred Behr are available in the Museum Store, Ford Cottage Shoppe, and the Edison Ford Shoppe at the Bell Tower Shops and his works are part of the Edison Ford Collection.
