Fort Myers, Fl (September 17, 2012) Join Edison & Ford Winter Estates horticulturalists, Debbie Hughes and Todd Roy for a second Garden Talk workshop this month, “Edible Fall Gardens,” on September 22, 2012 at 9 a.m. to learn how to start a fall garden for winter harvest.

Nearly one hundred years ago the Edison family grew fruits and vegetables on their winter estate and today the site has a year round organic vegetable garden, dozens of fruit trees and raised vegetable bed gardens as well as an Emerging Inventor’s Garden tended by children ages one – three years old. Participants will learn which vegetables thrive and how to start and maintain their own garden at home.
