                        Discount Days at Edison Ford Friday, Saturday and Sunday 

FORT MYERS, Fla. (August 24, 2016) – Edison & Ford Winter Estates is extending its discount days through this weekend. Lee County residents will receive 50% off admission and teachers and their families will get in free this Friday, August 26 through Sunday, August 28.

Lee County residents, teachers and their families will also receive 10% off retail purchases in the Museum Store, the Ford Cottage Shoppe and the Edison Ford Shoppe at Bell Tower.

Teachers will also receive 10% off an Edison Ford membership and free lesson plans and other materials. The discount includes teachers in public and private schools, homeschool parents, principals and support staff in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties. 

This is an opportunity for all Lee County residents and teachers to try out the new family audio tour. The audio tour takes visitors through the historic property with voice actors portraying both Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. 

Regular admission for the self-guided audio tour is $20 for adults, $15 for children aged 13-15, $11 for children aged 6-12 and free for children aged five and under. Free for Edison Ford members. 

Pinchers restaurant at The Marina at Edison Ford is offering a free drink with a $13.99 minimum purchase (coupon on Edison Ford map) and kids eat free.

River cruise packages with Pure Florida are available for an additional fee. During the month of August, Pure Florida is donating a percentage of ticket sales to the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools.
