Computer Camp for Kids Offered at Edison Ford 

FORT MYERS, Fla. (January 20, 2016) -- On January 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Edison & Ford Winter Estates will offer a computer camp for children in grades second through eighth. In the class, Introduction to Computer Science, students will learn about the history of computer science, along with basic terms and concepts. Students will write code using Scratch to make a character talk, move and interact with its environment. 

Registration is now open and required for the class. The cost for Edison Ford members is $40 and non-members is $50. Computers and equipment were donated through a $10,000 grant from the Quinn family.
