Children's "Art in the Gardens" Class at Edison Ford
FORT MYERS, Fla. (February 17, 2017) -- On February 27 at 10 a.m., Edison & Ford Winter Estates will host a 3-D art sculpture class for homeschoolers. Children will design and create a 3-D sculpture. The theme this year is birds. The completed projects will be displayed in the annual "Art in the Gardens" event throughout March and April in the Heritage Gardens at Edison Ford. A second class will be held on March 2 at 2 p.m.
The cost per student is $5 for Edison Ford members and $10 for nonmembers.

Edison Ford is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Edison Ford has been awarded the National Stewardship Award from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. It is an official project of “Save America’s Treasures," a Florida Historic Landmark and a National Register Historic Site. Recently, the Edison Botanical Laboratory was designated as a National Historic Chemical Landmark.
